I watched today a really great video with Bill Weir of ABC News speak about a recent assignment that changed his life forever! He discovered after taking detailed exams for an assignment interviewing a top heart specialist that he had Heart Disease. He was shocked because he worked out, took care of himself and never has any symptoms. Thankfully by doing this assignment his Heart Disease was detected early and he can treat it right where it is.

What are you doing, P.I.N.K. Diamonds to prevent diseases and illnesses from invading your bodies? I pose that question to myself too. Just because things don't look like something is wrong doesn't mean that there isn't! I challenge you all to make a decision in 2012 to do preventive care on yourselves so that you can live a very long time on earth! God intended for us all to live many years on earth but if we don't do our part for that blessing to happen it won't!

Do You Know Where You're Going To by Queen Diva 1-17-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Do You Know Where You're Going To? I have to say this has been my personal theme song for many years! For the last 21 years since I've been out of college I have lived in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Jersey City, Chicago, San Diego and Houston & surrounding areas. I've learned about myself and about people. People can be stubborn. peculiar, funny, mean, nasty, rude, kind, loving, compassionate, real, fake and beautiful! I chose this song because so many people are going in circles in their lives from their emotional, spiritual and physical state. So many people are wounded and holding on to hurts, disappointments, anger, resentment, UN-forgiveness and sadness. Christ died so that we can live our lives more ABUNDANTLY! We can't do that if we don't know where we are going and what life has in store for us!

I know from experience that when I was younger I seriously did not have a clue what I was to do with my life. All I knew and still only really knew was that I wanted to sing to the world for the rest of my days. I went to school to study so that I can have a firm foundation in music and vocal technique to be able to sing anything, anytime and anywhere without ruining my voice. After I graduated I had no idea how to live my life. How do I pursue my dreams? How do I meet my husband? How do I be a wife? How do I raise a family and hold it all together? How I budget a checkbook? How do I make more money with a degree that I've never really got the full jest of what career I could have?

Then LOVE stepped...God stepped in and put me on a journey to fall in LOVE with HIM! Jesus held my hand while the Holy Spirit guided me for the last 8 years. Life really is GOOD! Both the BAD & the GOOD makes life GOOD! LOL! I have been molded, shaped, bent, stretched, evolved and elongated into the woman I am today! God's not through with me yet but at least NOW I know where I'm going to! I am going wherever God leads me! Whether it is uncharted territory or lands of Kings and Queens. Where God leads I will follow.

I challenge you all, P.I.N.K. Diamonds in 2012 to find out where you are going, plan your course but also follow God's lead! I know that doesn't make sense but what I mean is for you to pray to God where are you to go, what are you to pack, how do you prepare for the journey and then just let God lead you. TRUST is a big FACTOR in allowing God to lead you but at least you will know where you are going to....The PROMISED Land that God always had as your final destination...HEAVEN!

I found this photo yesterday on his actual birthday January 15, 2012! Here in America we celebrate Rev. Dr. King, Jr's birthday on the third Monday of January. I was captivated by this picture because is shows their love and intimacy for each other in such a way that was so beautiful and natural to me. Mrs. Coretta King kisses her husband in mid sentence and you can tell that he's enjoying it, but he wants to finish his thought! LOL! I chose this picture to celebrate his birthday because we rarely get to see intimate photos of this peaceful, intelligent, intense, prolific, prophetic and wise Man of God who gave his life in activism for the equally of Blacks in America. We often forget that he was also a Husband, Father, Best Friend, Son and Man of God who was purposed on earth to preach and teach about LOVE. Keeping the Dream Alive is in essence walking in LOVE. Not in colors or financial status but merely in LOVE!

I challenge you all to take the time to research the man and not the martyr or activist and find out that he's not perfect but PERFECT for this mission to cause people to think, live and most important "Keep The DREAM ALIVE!"

P.I.N.K. Diamonds Fitness GEMS: Let's Find the JOY in Health!
Happy Wellness Wednesday! Every Wednesday I will post or have guest columnist post about our HEALTH! I'm so excited about 2012 because this is my year to finally reach my FITNESS goals! I want to be half my size, get back to swimming and actively finding out which physical activity I would like to do daily! I have attached a great introduction video from America's Doctor Surgeon General Regina Benjamin who explains her plan to get America HEALTHY! We've got to find our JOY in HEALTH! Plain and simple! That is it! Each and every person has to do SOMETHING to get MOVING! There are far too many activities and events to do to keep us all moving that can give us GREAT JOY while doing it!


I HIGHLY recommend each and everyone of you, P.I.N.K. Diamonds to find that activity in 2012 and beyond! If you just did 30 minutes a day of some sort of activity to keep your heart pumping and your body in motion you will not be sick or have health issues along with a GOOD HEALTHY DIET! You've only got one BODY and one LIFE to live on EARTH! Why not take the time to take care of your TEMPLE! That temple houses your SOUL! While you are on EARTH take care of the VESSEL you live inside of for the next 20, 30 or 40 years and counting! God wants you to live your life MORE ABUNDANTLY! That includes your HEALTH being 100% and not dependent on pills, shots, medications or anything else that is man made!

I challenge you all to GET MOVING and FIND YOUR JOY IN HEALTH in 2012! Join me as I make my journey towards obtaining my FITNESS goals on P.I.N.K. Diamonds Fitness Club on FACEBOOK! Diva's Diamonds: Walk Purposefully In LeaderSHIFT by Queen Diva 1-1-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Happy New Year 2012, P.I.N.K. Diamonds! Welcome new readers to my "Blogazine!" P.I.N.K.-Possibilities I Now Know Diamonds is the acronym meaning that was divinely given to me now two years ago to call all my readers when I started writing this "Blogazine!" I am so amazed at what God teaches through me to share with you each and every time. As you begin to soak in 2012 for many of you it will be a time of "ELEVATION" and for others it's a time for a "SHIFT." 2011 was a very hard year for so many people both spiritually and financially all around the world. God sees all and knows your struggles but it was all "PURPOSEFUL" for everything in life is on purpose! There are no accidents or coincidences for God has a plan for your life it's not the other way around. You have been through the storm without an umbrella and it has been very challenging for you to keep going. Or you had an umbrella and it flew up in the wind and didn't cover you in the way you "felt" it needed to do so. I'm here to tell you that sometimes before the "ELEVATION" or the "SHIFT" happens you have to go through the rain and just get "SOAKED!"

If that meant losing friends, family, cars, homes and money it was all "PURPOSEFUL" for you to grow, to learn, to step back, to begin again and to be thankful. Now in 2012 it's time to stop asking God to bless what you want or planned but to walk "PURPOSEFUL" in the direction and "POSITION" that God has been preparing you to be "ELEVATED" into as you make a "LEADERSHIFT!" You could not handle your new level of living without enduring all that you have gone through in 2011 but you made it through and God is now going to take you where HE will have you. It was never about what YOU wanted for God placed the desires in you heart "PURPOSEFULLY" for you to be right where you are reading this posting.

So where do you go from here beginning on this 1st day of 2012? For the rest of 2012 it is time for you to "WALK Purposefully in LEADERSHIFT" so that every person you meet, teach, encounter and exchange wisdom & knowledge with will see God and know that LOVE still exists and matters. To be a good leader you must walk in LOVE. To walk purposefully in what God has created you to do you must walk in LOVE. All the lessons you learned and tests you've passed are all to teach you how to walk in LOVE. Walking in LOVE means you've learned to forgive, love, give and serve no matter what comes your way and taken from YOU! God is LOVE. When you walk in LOVE you walk in God! When you trust God you know that HE already knows your needs, wants and desires because HE created you. When you understand the wisdom of knowing that you will be content in your lack and in your surplus!

I challenge you P.I.N.K. Diamonds to "WALK Purposefully in LeaderSHIFT" at all times in 2012! God knows what you've done, been through, lost and hope for every single day. But are you asking God, "What is your will for my life, Lord?" "Where should I walk PURPOSEFULLY today?" "What is YOUR assignment for me today, Lord?" Until those questions are asked and you are truly free in TRUSTING God for what is next in your life you will keep going in a circle in the wilderness like the Children of Israel and try to figure out a plan for you to get what you want instead waiting on receiving specifically what God has for YOU!

Happy New Year 2012, P.I.N.K. Diamonds! My motto for 2012 is "Do more, Be more, Give more!" Share with me what your motto for 2012 is and "Walk Purposefully in LeaderSHIFT" in it everyday!
