Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Out With The Old & In With The New...I instantly thought of this statement when I looked at my blank space for a title. I had a chat fest with a friend that I've known for months that I was to part ways and let go but I just put it off. I enjoyed our fellowship, singing together and our talks but I always had the feeling that if I said one statement or phrase that she didn't like there would be a huge explosion. I didn't like the feeling of having to always walk on "eggshells" when I talked to her and I also didn't like that our conversations were always limited because I didn't trust sharing things with her because she would feel intimidated by my accomplishments or opportunities that we both shared we wanted to achieve but would come to me. I realized that I was allowing her to say whatever she wanted to say to me and I would just let her and not say a word. I just could not continue to keep this friendship and listen to her and feel like a wall instead of a person.

I'm sharing this moment because too many times we put up with friendships and relationships because we don't want to lose a friend but just like the Word of God says....There is season for everything....Friendships are included in that. I knew months ago that I should have said goodbye to my sister/friend from a former church and tonight I simply wrote....goodbye. We must not allow anyone to make us feel hurtful, discouraged and sad when they talk to us. If we tell them their words hurt and they don't apologize or sympathize with our words then it's time to say...Out with the Old and in with the NEW!

I hope that in 2011 you make a choice to choose friends and relationships that sharpen you and not "drain" you. You are worthy of having "Fabulous" friends and there is never a reason to settle for less than "Fabulous!" I learned that I must be obedient in letting people go and not drag relationships out longer than it needs to be. I learned in 2010 to LOVE and when you truly LOVE you can FORGIVE. I also learned that some things are what it seems and to recognize it right away and MOVE FORWARD.

May your 2011 be filled with LOVE, PEACE, HOPE, JOY, WISDOM, LAUGHTER, NEW FRIENDSHIPS/RELATIONSHIPS that are God ordained, blessed and anointed to sharpen, strengthen, inspire, empower and encourage you towards GREATNESS!

Have you ever looked at someone's life and thought just how wonderfully awesome their life is? Then you look at yourself and think why can't I have that too? Well you can have an AWESOME life if you just have a "NEW ATTITUDE!" I was looking at someone's Facebook page today and I thought...Sigh...that person has such a cool life...a husband...a beautiful and healthy child and she's living her dream of singing professionally and a leader in her church and community! I thought why can't I have that too? Then God told me...you have an AWESOME life already but if you want more...CHANGE your ATTITUDE!!! How do I do that? Feed your spirit with good things that will help you become wiser, loving, peaceful and more beautiful! God reminded me that I am living my dream of encouraging people all over the world, a leader in my church as a Vocal Director and in my community as Ms. Greater Houston Plus America 2011 and I have a song that is currently #2 on the Reverbnation.com Electronica/Dance charts in Houston, TX and it's sold worldwide on various online music outlets. It's amazing how when you look at yourself you see something totally different than what others see. God reminded me that we all have an awesome life because we are alive LIVING in it! But if you want MORE then just get a "NEW ATTITUDE!"

Do you believe in MIRACLES? Do you really BELIEVE? Miracles happen every single day from cancer being cured to lost children being found! Are you praying for a MIRACLE? Well let me just tell you today that miracles do really happen! You must BELIEVE in them for them to happy to you. But you must also prepare for your MIRACLE. How do you do that? Well let me tell you!!! By thanking God for the MIRACLE before it happens, speaking life to your MIRACLE & knowing without a DOUBT that it's going to happen, releasing any unforgiveness that you may hold in your heart and having a great expectation that a MIRACLE is coming to you at any moment! Did you know that you are a creature? Yes, you are a creature because God is your creator. God created you with HIS words before you were ever thought of by your parents! Isn't that the most AWESOME thing that you could have ever heard?!! Your life was already planned and lived because God looks from the end to the beginning for HE is infinite and everlasting. Let me put it this way your entire life is the manifestations of God's words...period. God knew you before you were conceived. God chose exactly who your parents would be, how they would meet and when you would be born. God has a perfect plan for you to live your life and has already made the way for your dreams and visions to become reality and all you have to do is to surrender to HIS will for your life. That's it...just give yourself away to God and make HIM proud with your obedience to follow HIS will for your life. The hard part of all of this is choosing complete obedience. Just know that there is freedom in obedience and obedience pleases God. Your obedience will not only please God but will make him very proud of you!

Diva's Diamonds: God Is Always In Control by Queen Diva 8-11-10

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
No matter what it may look like know that GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL! The enemy may attack  you 10,000 from every side and it may look like you are outnumbered but know that GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL! I speak from experience when I tell you that the enemy is surely busy! You may be minding your own business doing what you normally do and then BAM! An attack will come at you either out of nowhere or you may have seen it coming from miles away. God wants you to know today that GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL! It is not punishment from God but a test from God. If you profess to be a child of God or a son or daughter of God or even a Christian rest assured you will be tested by God. It is to strengthen you and to give you abundant wisdom as well as to heighten your anointing. Everyone is anointed to do something on Earth. Your anointing by God is heightened by tests. Think of it as preparation like a Knight conditioning himself for battle. Every test you have conditions your readiness for the next battle. While you are going under your attack understand that God wants to see your level of PEACE, PATIENCE, TEMPERANCE & WISDOM to handle the situation. It is not a time to panic, try to get a Word from everyone and their mamas nor is it a time to fall out crying and singing the "Whoa Is Me Song" either! It is a time to say, "GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL" and I know you see all of this because you have allowed all of this. What is my next move? What am I to learn from this? How am I to handle this situation? God will either smile or frown depending on your reaction and tell you what is next. You can handle whatever comes your way! You are the head and not the tail! You are above and not beneath! You are on your way to Sonship  or Daughtership as a disciple of God! If you are already there, then your anointing has grown a notch for another day! No matter what it looks like....GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL!

Some people have wondered why did I choose to use PINK Diamonds as my symbol for Diva's Diamonds? When I was teenager I remembered watching a motivational show on PBS and the woman who was hosting the show said whenever she needs a pick me up about her life and the direction she is going she thinks of the color PINK! Then she explained the acronym for PINK to her meant P.I.N.K.=Possibilities I Now Know! I never forgot those words and it stayed with me for many years. I can recall many times when I would feel blue I would think of the color PINK! LOL! When God gave me this divine vision to share Diva's Diamonds I automatically thought of PINK Diamonds would be my symbol for this mission! Diva's Diamonds are wisdom statements divinely given to me to share with you so that you will think P.I.N.K.=Possibilities I Now Know! There is nothing that you cannot do in the will of God! God wants you to have endless possibilities! God wants you to live your life more abundantly! Use these Diva's Diamonds to help you throughout this glorious journey we call LIFE! Think PINK! But not only PINK but PINK Diamonds for they are one of the most rare and precious gems on Earth! Just like YOU!

Diva's Diamonds: The Art of Receiving by Queen Diva 7-31-10

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Sometimes people may come up to you and they are just so excited to see you because of the light that glows from you. You have a glow of potential, promise and presence of God upon you that is blinding to people. I want to talk to you about the "Art of Receiving." What is the Art of Receiving? The Art of Receiving is the ability to listen to people with respect, honor, peace and confidence in knowing who you are right now and receiving what the person tells you in SILENCE. The key word here is SILENCE. Listen to the person in their entirety without interruption, sarcasm, contempt, disgust, disrespect or rebellion. Once that person is finished you can do one of two things: If the words given to you strikes a cord in your belly and it is stirred with excitement and peace then that is a God given word just for you. You are to tell that person "I receive your words, God Bless you!" On the other hand if you are not moved or feel unrest with the words that are spoken to you in your spirit then peacefully tell the person, "I've listened to your words and I will ask for confirmation from God, Thank you & May God be with you." People young and old need to learn to be respectful to people when they are given a word. Receiving is the most important thing you can do during your journey because it brings you wisdom. When receiving from others it is not a time to pick a debate, argument, question who you are as a person, the person who is speaking to you or put up walls. The Art of Receiving takes time, patience and a will to change your way of thinking. It can be done. You have to choose to perfect this art daily.

Diva's Diamonds: The Power of Thank You by Queen Diva 7-24-10

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
How many of you know the power of THANK YOU? Did you even know that those two simple words have great power? Let me give you an example...Let's say you fix a really great meal for someone you love and you went all out of your way to make it really special. You are so excited and prepared many things the person you cooked for loves to eat. That person eats all the food and just looks at you and says this is really good...but never says THANK YOU. How do you feel? Unappreciated and mad...right? You cooked, chopped, sliced, baked, washed dishes, set the table, decorated and presented the entire meal with a big smile....and then you don't get a THANK YOU. Well, imagine how God feels when he wakes you up every morning, gives you breath to breathe, blesses you to see these very words right now, pays your rent, puts food on your table, gas in your tank and offers to be your friend and savior for eternity and God never gets a THANK YOU from you. 

Many of us just need to understand the importance in the power of THANK YOU. We need to be taught that the words THANK YOU is a bridge to happiness between one another. God will love you regardless if you say thank you or not. But it pleases God when we thank HIM because you honor God with a THANK YOU. And believe it or not God smiles too! He made you in HIS image and you are HIS perfect creation. A mere...THANK YOU, LORD will do wonders to building a bridge that is sturdy, loving and blessed between you and God!


I challenge you to just say THANK YOU, LORD for________________! Throughout the day, week, month and year! Watch God smile and see how your relationship grows! You will know that HE is smiling by the love in your heart after you say it! Also, thank those in your life to show them you honor them for what they do, give and bring to you and your relationship with them! I guarantee your life will be BLISS!

Is your name VICTORY? Do you know what being VICTORIOUS really is? Victorious means having achieved a success or triumph over an enemy in battle or war; conquering; triumphantly! It's time for many of us to stop walking around like a VICTIM and hold our heads up high like a VICTOR and WALK IN VICTORY! Have you ever heard the song "My Name Is Victory" by Jonathan Nelson? The lyrics read, "I have evidence, I have confidence, I'm a conqueror, I know that I win, I know who I am , God wrote it in his plan for me, Oh my name is VICTORY!!!I know my identity, my name is VICTORY!" That is an affirmation that I challenge you to say all day today. When you are frustrated about not having a job...My name is VICTORY! While you are trying to figure out how to pay your rent...My name is VICTORY! When you are riding on fumes and you don't know where money is coming from to fill up the tank...My name is VICTORY! When you are so hungry and you don't have enough money to even buy a $.99 burger on the dollar menu at your favorite fast food chain...My name is VICTORY! Or when your child looks at you to buy them a toy, gadget or shoes and you just don't have the money ...My name is VICTORY! Know who you are and proclaim it to the mountaintops from the valley...I WALK in VICTORY....I know who I am...a VICTOR and not a VICTIM! Victors always WIN even when it looks like they are gonna lose they always, always, always...WIN!

Peace & Blessings, All!
My name is Queen Diva and this is my first official blog! I will share with you wisdom that is divinely sent to me to inspire, motivate, encourage and enlighten you as you walk in your journey of life towards becoming "FLAWLESS!" Why did I name this blog "Diva's Diamonds" well a diamond starts out as a lump of coal at the middle of the earth. After years of pressure through hot rocks, dirt and many levels of earth the coal is pushed up towards the earth surface. Once the coal reaches to a shallow level where diamond miners dig for diamonds they will find a flawless diamond. The words that I share with you will help you to press on during your life's journey towards becoming "FLAWLESS!" I'm so excited and I look forward to hearing from you and feel free to post your thoughts about my daily Diva's Diamonds!

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
There is never a time that you should not "WALK in LOVE!" No matter how hard a person makes it for you to LOVE them you must always "WALK IN LOVE!" You first have to know what LOVE is in order to walk in it. God is LOVE so if God is LOVE then you must learn to WALK IN GOD! What do I mean by that? God is pure, spotless, holy, sovereign and peace. If you are striving for those things you will be able to WALK IN LOVE. How do I do that? By reading the Word of God and praying without ceasing throughout the day even if you say, "LAWD, Keep me on the cross because these people are about to work my nerves in Jesus name, AMEN!" That's a step towards walking in LOVE. Various prayer that are sincere from your heart God hears you. God wants you to talk to him throughout the day. As you talk to God HE will begin to talk back to you and tell what not to do to stay in peace and in LOVE. There will be times that the closest person to you like your spouse, child or co-worker will try to steal your joy! Don't let them do it! LOL! That is when you say a quick prayer to the Lord and ask for peace and to shower upon you HIS love for you to continue to walk in LOVE.

I challenge you all to purposely walk in LOVE. Even if your child breaks your favorite lamp...walk in love! If your spouse leaves his/her clothes on the floor in the same spot that you told them don't do it again...walk in love! If your boss loads a huge amount of work for you to do that someone else messed up and he/she is looking at you to be a team player and fix it...walk in love! If your parents are giving you grief and won't help you with what you need from them and bellyache about helping you...walk in love! Or you just made the bed or washed the dishes and someone comes in and places a dirty spoon or small cup and won't wash it out....walk in love! LOL!

It's gonna take some practice, much prayer, some tears of frustration but simply choose to WALK in LOVE!
