Today, Yesterday & Forevermore...On this very last day of 2012...December  31st reflect on all the wonderful events of my life as well as the challenging ones! Today I am so very thankful for all that I have endured in the last 8 years on my "journey" as a queen, minister and servant of God. Yesterday...I think about how a year ago I was in Conroe, TX working for someone who didn't even know I was miserable working on her dream and all I could think I wish I was living and working in NYC. I kept saying, "Lord, I wanna be in NYC with my daughter and mother. I wanna sing at venues I've always wanted to perform and work with people who appreciated my efforts and will love me even if they didn't have the funds to pay me what I'm worth I just wanted to make a difference and be honored for what I do in excellence." I am a living witness that God answers prayer! I'm living in NYC, with my mother and daughter, singing and performing all around NYC, working with one of my dearest friends on her non-profit that is making a difference in our youth and I am appreciated for all that I say and do to help her company prepare for the elevation that God has already confirmed in her that shall soon come.

I am so ready and extremely excited about 2013! I've declared that I will be "Living My Dream in 2013!" I will no longer help others to make their dreams a reality any longer. It is now time for me to work on my dreams to come to life! I've dreamed three things since I was a little girl....To sing worldwide to large audience as a very successful vocalist and songwriter, meet and marry my husband and have a blissful marriage and last but not least seek God and do what HE wanted me to do Forevermore. These three things have been in my spirit for many years and all that I have gone through has prepared me for those three things that I've waited on and I now know that in 2013 my dreams will become a reality! I shall serve the LORD Thy God Forevermore and I am so humbled by all that God has bestowed upon me and the places HE has taken me and gifts I've received from people daily.

I want to encourage you all to know that Jesus is the same Today, Yesterday and Forevermore! Everything that you have gone through was all preparation for your ELEVATION! You will no longer be in famine but now it is time to walk into your WEALTHY place! 2013 you will and shall LIVE YOUR DREAM! All that God has promised to you is already yours! You are ready to move forward to the next level. This WORD is only for those who know that this is for YOU! For those who are not ready know that your preparation will strengthen you and condition you for battle! You will gain much WISDOM, HUMILITY, POWER, GRACE, BEAUTY FOR YOUR ASHES & PEACE.

Today, Yesterday & Forevermore....Jesus never changes yet HE works on us all to be ready for our destiny through PURPOSEFUL CONDITIONING! We must change and go from glory to glory to glory until that great day we are in PARADISE.

I thank you all, P.I.N.K. Diamonds for your continued LOVE, PRAYERS & SUPPORT over the last two years! I can't wait to share with you whats coming up next one post at a time!

Preparation is KEY! by Queen Diva

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Preparation is KEY! Well, it's already November and in a blink it will be 2013! Can you actually believe that 2012 has gone by so fast? So many amazing events has happened to celebrities and every day working people from Hurricane Sandy to the death of Whitney Houston at the beginning of the year! What have you done to prepare for 2013? Do you have any idea what you should be preparing for next year? I want to encourage you to understand first and foremost that "Preparation is KEY" to your success in 2013 and beyond! You can no longer keep winging it or putting things together at the last minute and whipping something fabulous! I'm talking to me more than I'm talking to you reading this blog! LOL!

I'm determined now more than ever to achieve the dreams that I put on hold thinking they would never come to pass because of my age or weight or skin color or lack of experience or even lack of connections! I keep hearing God tell me "Preparation is KEY!" I want to record a full album! I want my face on a billboard on New York City's 8th Avenue like in my photo above! I want to go to Paris, London and Germany! I want to get married to an AMAZING man of God with great purpose and destiny. I want to buy my own condo in NYC and a house in Beverly Hills. I want to have Diva's Diamonds as a broadcast for all the world to see. I want to write 3 to 5 study guides and inspirational books in 2013! I want to sing for President Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House in 2013! All of these goals can happen! If I prepare and prayerfully ask God what must I do to prepare for these opportunities to come my way! Will is happen? Only time will tell but if I don't prepare, plan and pray for direction I will never know!

I want to truly make every person that reads this post understand that there are visions and dreams inside of you that are so much GREATER than YOU! If you know your dream is BIGGER than you then you must begin to believe it is something that only God can open the door for you to walk through to fulfill. But if you are not prepared when these opportunities come to you, then it will pass you right by to the one who is ready! Don't let that happen to you!

Preparation is KEY! Let this be your MANTRA for the remainder of 2012! Truly be prayerful in what you are to do next and then do what it is necessary for you to be successful! I'm here to be your biggest cheerleader! Share with what you are believing God to do in your life to change not only you but others!

Diva Under Development by Queen Diva 10-9-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Diva Under Development...As I reflect over my life and countdown to my birthday tomorrow 10.10.12 I can truly say that I've been BLESSED! I have no complaints, worries, concerns or anxieties in my life. Why, you may ask? I'm so glad you want to know! LOL! I TRUST GOD COMPLETELY with my life! I'm finally comfortable in my skin, my spiritual walk with the LORD and who I have become. I have embraced my size, financial, martial and career status right where it is! I know that GOD is not through with me yet and still preparing me for my future! The BEST is yet to come! I know that everything that has happened in my life is PURPOSEFUL both the GOOD and the BAD! I know that my triumphs far outweigh my defeats and through it all GOD is always with me!

I wanted to share this with you because there are many of you who are still searching for YOU and you don't have to look any further than two places....the MIRROR and GOD! God sees every tear drop that falls from your eyes because you are uncertain about who you are, where you are going and what you should become all the days of your LIFE! I'm here to tell you that all you have to do is get into a quiet place, be at peace and ask God to guide you where you should go NEXT. As simple as that may sound it is very challenging to those of you who are always around people, texting and on FACEBOOK! Oops! Is that me! LOL!

I'm talking to myself right now! But seriously you were created to glorify GOD in all that you say and do not MAN or yourself. I want to encourage you to EMBRACE you by seeking LOVE=GOD! You will find that in your quest for LOVE=GOD you will see that you have it already inside of you for you were made in God's image which is LOVE.

It may take days, months or years for you to get where you want to be yet in the meantime LOVE on YOU! Embrace YOU and know that you will be under development all the days of your LIFE. I totally understand that and as a "Diva Under Development" I know that it takes time to become a godly image but it also takes making the decision to do so.

I LOVE you all dearly, I pray that you understand that being under development is not a BAD thing but and EXTRAORDINARY process that we all must go through to be what God intended us to be...HIS greatest creation....MAN and WOMAN to honor HIM in spirit and in truth! I recognize that as a "Diva Under Development"....The BEST is YET to COME!

Welcome to FALL 2012! I LOVE Autumn! It's officially here and what a wonderful time of the year! It's also a time of HARVEST! All that you have been working on from the beginning of the year will now come together and birth out a beautiful creation! I want to encourage those who believe that you are not seeing the fruits of your labor in the mist of not having enough or living on just enough! I totally understand! Believe me I do! Just know that God sees all that you do, all the tears that you've shed, all the blood and sweat you squeezed out of yourself while planning and preparing towards your future.

It's not easy but anything that is worth fighting for is going to give you a challenge. If wasn't challenging then everyone will be doing it and having a blast without any sense of accomplishment or quality towards it! You must know that your toil is not punishment by God but only to condition you and prepare you for your success! Your HARVEST cannot come unless you toiled the land, sowed the seed, watered the seed and allowed God to do HIS part for the seed to grow!

I know that frustration seems to knock on your door everyday! I know that you are ready to give up and not look for another job, start another proposal, begin re-writing another resume, applying for another college or auditioning for another show! God sees you and you are not forgotten! Your talents and gifts will be rewarded and your HARVEST is near!

Enjoy this FALL 2012 and have GREAT EXPECTANCY in receiving what you have worked so hard for many months and for others years! It shall come to pass! Keep going and know that God is with you every step of the way!

Hurting in Silence....Chris Lighty by Queen Diva

I met Veteran Hip Hop Executive Chris Lighty in the late '90's when we were "grindin'" in New York City to get into the music industry along with Jay-Z, P. Diddy, Notorious B.I.G., Foxxy Brown and so. I had a critically acclaimed songwriters forum called Queen Diva Entertainment NYC Songwriter's Forum and I was trying to get him to be on my panel! I remember every time I would run into him I would ask him to share his expertise on my panel and he would just smile and tell me if you can get P.Diddy and Mark Pitts on your panel then I'll be on it! LOL! He knew that was an impossible feat because neither one of them were available to do panels during their "grind" to become successful in the music industry. It became an inside joke between us over the years because I never got him on my panel and I remember the last time I asked him to be on an ideal panel on television would he be on it about two years ago when he did "Ask Chris" on his Twitter. He said he would if I got Jay-Z, P. Diddy and someone else he told me I forgot. He laughed so hard and shook his head via the video message he gave me! I just had a blank stare on my face because I knew that all of them are totally untouchable to reach or invite! LOL!

I haven't spoken to him in two years but I did follow him on Twitter and he did follow me. I didn't know all that he was going through personally and I had no idea that he was hurting so deeply. He always seem to be a very private person and very selective on who he spoke to and had close to him in his circle of friends. I'm sharing this post today to give comfort to those who are devastated by Chris's recent suicide. He loved Hip Hop, his family and friends. One of his last tweets on Twitter he was giving condolences in remembrance to DJ Scott La Rock who died on August 27,1987 just three days before he died. 

When someone is hurting in silence it's very difficult to know just how much pain they are in. We may never know what Chris was thinking and the torment he faced to lead him to his final decision. That's why its so important to always PRAY for our friends and family. The Holy Bible reads, Pray without ceasing. I Thessalonians 5:17 KJV. Also, James 5:16 NLT says, "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." Chris Lighty was in need of a healing and didn't know how to receive it. All of us who know what  FREEDOM in Christ means it is so important to share your PEACE. It's important to not hold back when God leads you to tell someone about Jesus because so many people just like Chris are hurting in SILENCE. Whether we know what's going on with are friends and family or not the prayers of the righteous availeth MUCH. We must continually share Christ with all even if they reject us in the mist of sharing as long as you do your part in sharing the Holy Spirit will do His part to grow the seed you plant with your words. We must continually pray for our friends and family whether we see fruit or not because God knows the heart of man. Let us pledge today that we will PRAY for one another continuously. If we do our part God will do His part in our lives. Hurting in SILENCE is the loneliest feeling in the world. Let Chris Lighty's death be a reminder to reach out to our friends and appreciate every moment that we have with each other. 

I pray PEACE, LOVE & STRENGTH upon the Lighty family, friends and colleagues who have all known and worked with Chris Lighty. Let his life help, heal and prevent others from choosing suicide as an answer but to PRAY for strength and for God to lead them towards HOPE and receiving PEACE to continue forward.

Stay Connected by Queen Diva 8-13-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Stay Connected...Yesterday I went to church and I heard an awesome sermon by a wise and beautiful 88 year old woman of God named Eldress Montgomery! She preached out of Acts 1: 8.."But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will by my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."



She basically said we have to "STAY CONNECTED" to God to have ALL POWER! She compared connecting a plug in the wall and receiving electrical power. If you are not connected to the wall where the power is you cannot receive power. She said the POWER of the Holy Spirit is what we need to carry the ANOINTING of God in our lives to fulfill what God has intended for us to do in our lives daily. If we are not connected to God we cannot have any POWER! We must "STAY CONNECTED!" She also said, If you put the plug in the outlet and nothing turns on then you have to ask yourself, "Have you paid your BILL for the power to be ON?" That really touched my spirit because we seem to forget that TRUSTING God takes us sacrificing our own WILL and TRUSTING God's WILL for us! In my mind I keep trying to figure things out that I want to happen instead of just TRUSTING God's word and promises that HE has already told me that belong to me! I must "STAY CONNECTED" to the POWER of the Holy Spirit through prayer, fasting, studying the Holy Bible and be steadfast in what God has already told me!

I want to encourage you ALL today to "STAY CONNECTED" to God! Keep studying the Holy Bible and constantly seeking God's face! God knows all that you need and what you are going through. If you leave room for the enemy to come between you and God that is when you will get disconnected and begin to draw on your own understanding and cause many problems for yourself and those around you. I know from experience that being disconnected from God is not a place that you want to be.

I challenge you this week to seek God's word for YOU this week and strive to continually "STAY CONNECTED" to God and receive all POWER from the Holy Spirit! You will see miraculous things happen in your life when you do! Please share with me your praise report! I'd LOVE to hear from you!

You Must Accept What God Calls You In Order For God To Use YOU....It's Magnificent Monday, August 6, 2012 and as I reflect on the wonderful weekend I had I must share a WORD with you that God had me share with a woman at the bus stop in Harlem, USA on Saturday evening. After my performance I walked to my bus stop and waited for my bus. The Lord told me to ask the woman standing next to me if she is a "Missionary" or an "Evangelist?" So I did just that and asked the woman, "Are you a missionary or an evangelist?" She smiled at me, shook her head and then said, " You honor me with those words...I do missions but I am not a missionary or an evangelist." I then shared with her what God told me to tell her..."In order for God to use you...YOU must accept what God calls you in order for HIM to take you places you've never been. If you do missions then you are a missionary....Missionary! Receive these words and begin to walk in what God calls you! HE can't use you until you do!" The woman just smile and said, "Thank you, Woman of God...I receive your words and I will do just that." I told her that is all that the Lord wanted me to tell her because you already know what HE's been telling you for a while. It's time to walk in what God calls you so HE can use YOU! The woman nodded her head in agreement, smiled and then got on the bus.

I'm sharing this with you all today to express two things....One... You NEVER know when God will use you to pass on a WORD to someone who may need just a little nudge to get on the right path and embrace who they are in the spirit and Two...If you do not embrace what God calls you then God won't be able to use YOU for HIS glory! Here's an example in the Holy Bible within the Book of Judges Chapter 6 God calls Gideon a "mighty warrior" and yet Gideon refuses to accept those words of encouragement and empowerment from God. Gideon threshes wheat for a living and has NEVER fought in a battle in his life. Why would God call him a "mighty warrior?" God calls Gideon that because that is what God created Gideon to be and only in God's "divine timing" will God call on HIS creation who they are to fulfill what God created for him to do. Amazing, right?

Every single person on this earth was created by God to do something to glorify God in excellence! The only reason that everyone doesn't do what they were created to do is because of "CHOICE" and that is it! You can choose to accept what God calls you to do with your life or you can choose what you want to do and it will be far less than magnificent than if you were obedient to what God created and calls you to do! Gideon made the decision to "EMBRACE" what God called him and was a "MIGHTY WARRIOR!"

What does God call YOU? A Teacher, Preacher, Scientist, Artist, Chef, Singer, Dancer, Doctor, Lawyer or as in the words of Florence Johnson on an American Iconic show called The Jeffersons..."I'm a Household Technician or for everyone else in the world a "Maid." Whatever God calls you receive that title and do in excellence for the Glory of God! Everyone has "GREATNESS" in them to do something that God specifically placed inside of them to bless others every single day!

I challenge you to pray and meditate on what God calls you. If you do not know then you need to fast, pray and meditate for God to reveal to you what HE calls you. Once you know without any doubt then I highly encouarge you to do it in EXCELLENCE at all times! God sees all and knows all. God wants you to receive the words as you read this post to embrace what HE calls you and then begin to walk in it purposefully, prayerfully and mindfully always!

Be Still And Know That I Am God...It's Magnificent Monday, P.I.N.K. Diamonds! I know that there are many of you who are thinking about the cares of the world and it's bringing you down. I want to say to you that everything is purposeful and God is always in control. What do I mean by everything is purposeful? Well, when bad things happens it causes us to reflect, pray, heal and draw closer to God. Everything that happens in this world is purposeful for you to draw closer to God. Your failures, disappointments, losses, and defeats all are purposeful for you to draw closer to God. I also want to say that God is always in control of every situation. You may have lost your job or can't find a job. You may be getting evicted from your home or don't have enough gas to get through the week! Whatever your situation when you seek God intimately for yourself and build a relationship with Him you will see that God has you in His hands even in the mist of turmoil. You can have peace like you've never know once you embrace that God will take care of YOU.

There are many of you waiting on blessings to manifest and you are wondering if God still hears you and if you will ever see your blessing in your lifetime. The answer is YES you will receive your blessings and promises that God has spoken to you in your lifetime. Right now it's time to BE STILL and know that God is GOD. This is not a time in your life to keep trying to figure things out for yourself. This is a time to keep preparing for your blessing and be ready to receive it at any giving moment. Too many of you are trying to do God's job and God is not pleased. You can't out do or out give God. So it is best that you just BE STILL. I know that is a very hard thing to do when you are ready to do something or call somebody or make plans for yourself. But let me tell you that nothing that you can figure out on your own will be greater than what God has already done in TIME. Remember God is the author and finisher of TIME. It is already done we just have to live life to see it manifest. Your thoughts are not God's thoughts nor your ways God's ways. God is SOVEREIGN, RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, OMNISCIENT AND GLORIOUS! There is nothing that you can do on your own that will be GREATER than what God has already done for you in TIME.

God says, "Be still and know that I am God." I challenge you all to be obedient and WATCH GOD HAPPEN! Your breakthrough is closer than you think! All that you have been praying for and preparing for will come to you! In the meantime be at peace and bloom where you are planted. God's got you! Don't worry and don't keep trying to figure out a plan. Just keep working on the last word that God gave you to do in excellence. God sees you and know exactly what you NEED!

What's so amazing about this song is that it was a demo song for International House Recording Artist Adeva twelve years ago and she was never able to record it. Queen Diva's voice was used for "demo vocals" for Adeva to know how the melody would go. Queen Diva asked for ten years for the Producer/Songwriter Malcolm B. Smith of Loopstreet Music to release the song and in 2010 it was released and immediately shot to the Top 3 in the Houston,TX Electronica/Pop chart!

This is definitely a lesson in patience being a virtue. After years of the song sitting on the shelf and then being release two years in one region and then peaking in the Electronica Dance Music capitol of New York City at #5 patience is a word that will definitely make or break an artist.

There's NO "I" in T.E.A.M. by Queen Diva 7-13-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
There's no "I" in T.E.A.M.-Together Everyone Achieves Momentum! A couple of weeks ago I was talking to a young anointed and appointed minister who was so excited about where God is taking him and how his pastor uses him at his church home. He was just beaming with excitement in sharing with me all the jobs that he does at his church and how his pastor always calls on him to speak, teach, direct the choir, youth ministry, offering, pray for the congregation and so on. As I was listening with a smile on my face and thinking to myself what about the rest of the leaders in the church are they being used too? Once the young minister finished sharing I asked him, "Do you belong to a small church?" He said, "No, why do you ask?" I said, "I was thinking you must belong to a small church and have to wear many hats." He said no the church is a large church but the pastor always calls on him. I asked him, "Why do you think he always calls on you?" He said, "Because the other ministers in the church do not get up and show initiative to want to help the pastor like he does or show any interest in being right at the pastor's side when he is praying or healing the congregation." I asked him, " Does your church have a Minister's Training Program?" The young minister hesitated and said, "Well, Yes and no." I said, "Please explain." To make a long conversation short the minister said that they do have a program but it is not enforced, mandatory and they don't meet regularly. I told the young minister that explains why the other ministers aren't  being used and why they are not taking initiative to do anything because they are not taught or trained on what to do and why they should do it.

I further explained to the young minister that there are some people who are chosen and appointed by God to be a leader and then there are others who are trained by the anointed and appointed to become a leader. Not everyone has a natural desire to be a leader although they know they have the qualities if they are not trained and mentored towards become one they will never know their true potential and make a difference in this world. I recommended that as a leader in his church home where the pastor respects his ministry and leadership ability it is up to him to help train his fellow ministers and deacons to know the "GREATNESS" that lies within them. Many people don't know that there is GREATNESS lying dormant within them. It takes an AWESOME leader to see beyond their natural eye sight the GREATNESS within their leadership and followers.

There's NO "I" in T.E.A.M.-Together Everyone Achieves Momentum! If only one person does it all the TEAM will never grow, prosper, flourish or bear fruit that is ripe for the taking for the world to partake in abundance! There are just too many young men and women in leadership both in the secular and sacred sectors basking in the "glory" of being selected to do many tasks by their superiors, but not concerned that their team members and fellow leaders need their assistance in being utilized too. Leaders no matter if they are young or old must ALWAYS remember that to be a GREAT leader you must teach your team that each member's job is essential to be productive and successful. One person cannot be a TEAM. A team cannot rely on one person to do it all and expect to receive the same reward that is given in victory when a project, ministry, goal or purpose is completed.

I challenged the young minister as I'm am challenging YOU reading this post today if you are the person that your supervisor ALWAYS calls to get a project done, start a workshop or if you are minister you are called to say the opening prayer, host the youth conference or merely carry the pastor's Bible remember there is no "I" in T.E.A.M.-Together Everyone Achieves Momentum! If you are the "CHOSEN ONE" by your superior then you are the "CHOSEN ONE" to help your T.E.A.M to be productive, fruitful and purposeful. Ask to start a leader's workshop, weekly Bible Study or on the job start a Toastmasters International chapter to sharpen speaking in leadership skills or maybe start a focus group to target team members weaknesses and turn them into strengths!

To be a LEADER you must think like a T.E.A.M. player! Tell me your progress report! I'd love to hear how things have turned around when you took the "I" out and embraced your T.E.A.M-Together Everyone Achieves Momentum Players!

God Sees YOU by Queen Diva 6-26-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:

God Sees YOU! Yes, I will say that again....GOD SEES YOU! You may think because your life isn't the way you would like it to be or going the way you would like it to go that God doesn't see what's going on in your life. I'm here to tell you...GOD SEES YOU! God knows your hurts, pains, triumphs and failures! God sees you when you are shedding tears on your pillow at night and when you are laughing hysterically by the water cooler at work! You may think that everything that is happening to you right now is unbearable and you just don't know how you are gonna get through the end of this week! God knows you are hungry, thirsty, broke, disgusted, tired, worn out and excited about what's next at the same time! LOL! Oh, that's me! Is that you too? I'm here to tell you that all that you are going through are merely growing pains! For others it may be labor pains depending on your journey.

What do I mean by that? Well if you are new in your relationship with God then you are merely learning to have FAITH in God and TRUST HIM with your life and your decisions. Until you completely surrender completely to God's will for your life you will have growing pains getting to know God and hearing HIS voice through studying the Holy Bible, praying, fasting and going to church to fellowship with believers in Christ to help you along as you grow spiritually. There will be times that God is silent and there will be times that God speaks to you LOUD AND CLEAR! You will have tests as you grow more and more in your relationship with God.

For others who have been walking with God for many years and are seasoned in knowing the difference between God giving you a test and when HE is teaching you something your FAITH is strong and you obtain a superior amount of WISDOM to get you through the day, week, month and years! You then begin to have labor pains of something GREAT that God is working through you to "birth out" in a mighty way to bless the world and help build the KINGDOM of GOD on earth! Through it all GOD SEES YOU!

So no matter what you are going through whether it's "labor pains" or "growing pains" GOD SEES YOU and you are NEVER alone. Just because God may be silent during the hardest part of your labor or growing spurt doesn't mean that God isn't watching you and with you through it all.

You can triumph over whatever that lies before you! You can finish the task that you are in the mist of completing! You can even live through the hardest time of not having money, a job, a wife or husband, not having a car or any hope at all of reaching your dream. Remember everything in life is TEMPORARY and trouble NEVER last ALWAYS! It's how you handle what you are going through that is the MOST IMPORTANT thing that God is watching you to see if you are ready for what HE has next in store for YOU!

It's called a PROCESS, P.I.N.K. Diamonds! You are on your way to shining more and more resplendently! GOD SEES YOU! Keep going! YOU CAN DO THIS!

Queen Diva LIVE...Will You Join Me in NYC!

Blessings, P.I.N.K. Diamonds! I would like to personally invite you if you are in the New York Tri-State area to attend my performance at the The Pyramid Club in NYC on Tuesday, June 12, 2012! I will be singing original songs as well as a special "Diva Tribute-Whitney Houston, Donna Summers, Lena Horne & Etta James" to the recent "Divas" who have gone on to glory in the last two years! I am so excited to do this show because it is my very first time producing and performing a show that will solely spotlight MOI (in my Miss Piggy voice)! LOL! I have dreamed for many years for the opportunity to sing before record label executives, booking agents, entertainment lawyers and FANS to show them all what I can DO!!! I truly want to sing and record professionally for the rest of my LIFE on my OWN terms! Amen!

This showcase is basically me presenting myself to "Movers & Shakers" within the music industry who can take my music career to the NEXT LEVEL! I've paid my dues by singing at a lot of juke joints, talent shows from the Hip Hop Comedy Stop in Houston (1st Place) to the Apollo Theater in Harlem (3rd place). I've sung at the Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center (NYC) and the National Anthem at a MV Scrappers Minor League Baseball Game in Ohio! I've even performed in front of empty tables and chairs as well as an arena that holds 6500 people!

I'm so READY for my time to share my gift of SONG to the world! It's all about God's "divine timing" and I'm so excited about this event and that my time is NOW!

Soul Mates by Queen Diva 4-21-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Soulmates...I attended a wedding today in Elmendorf, TX of a young couple I really don't know but I met the Bride-to-be here in San Antonio, TX via the church I'm attending while I'm working on an assignment that God has me on. I've never attended a wedding where the entire service is a symbolism of Jesus Christ as the Bridegroom and the Church as the Bride. It was very moving and so very beautiful. They are a young couple in their mid-twenties and they are Missionaries from India. They are here only to get married because the Bride is from San Antonio by way of Austin and her family wanted to see her get married for they may not see her again because she and her husband plan to stay in India for the rest of their lives. WOW! I was so moved by their commitment to God, their LOVE for each other, for their families and most importantly for Jesus Christ. They wanted their wedding to glorify God! I was beaming the entire time. I had my tissue in hand when they showed pictures of them as children and with their families. It was so amazing how they both were born and raised in America but met as Missionaries in India. The pictures of them as children showed just love and they beamed of smiles that were so much alike it was amazing to see.

I shared this because we just never know what God is up to in our lives when it come to receiving our "soul mates!" We can either be working side by side with our future husband/wife for month or years! Or we may have met our future mate years ago and then God reconnects you in "divine timing" to become one. Many of you out there may have prayed for a spouse and wonder where is he/she? I've prayed and prayed! I'm not getting any younger. I'm doing me, working hard, preparing for my future spouse, I don't have any unforgiveness, I pay tithes, serve in the church, went to conferences, seminars and retreats...How come I am not married? It could be that maybe....just maybe your future spouse isn't ready for you. Or perhaps God will present to you your spouse when you least expect it!

I honestly have no idea who my husband will be. I've been presented to a few men of God in the past but just because God presents you doesn't mean they will choose YOU. (That's another blog post.) What I mean is this...When God chooses your spouse HE will present that person to you. It is your choice to receive or not. Too many times we have an ideal of what we want in a spouse it may not be what we need. Or there may be conditions to the choice that God presents to you such as you MUST be obedient to God's will for your life and accept the call that HE specifically told you to do and you decide you want to do something else. For example God has called you to preach and you want to be a professional singer. Or God has called you to be a doctor and you want to be a football star. If you do then you cannnot receive the wife/husband, wealth, prosperity in your path that God had for you in your OBEDIENCE. You can receive what you want because God will give you the desires of your heart, but imagine your life living in OBEDIENCE to God and having a BLISSFUL life compared to living in DISOBEDIENCE and receiving what you want and having a CONTENT life.

Personally, I want a BLISSFUL LIFE! I've waited all of these years I can wait however long it takes to meet and marry the one that God presents me to who is living an OBEDIENT life doing exactly what God told him to do in EXCELLENCE and prayed specifically for me to be his wife....SOUL MATE.

When I Get Married...It will be ordained, blessed, anointed and appointed by God to be BLISSFUL until we part in death. After watching this wedding I'm inclinded to start planning the actual wedding program. I was thinking I wanted a very private and intimate wedding and have a BIG BLOWOUT Reception/Afterparty! LOL! I have a lot of friends and I would LOVE for them to all fly out to celebrate!

What else would a Queen Diva have when she marries her KING but a FESTIVAL! LOL! I would definitely have to marry a KING with a kingdom and treasures to do that! LOL!

A Blessing & Prayer From My Spiritual Mom by Queen Diva 4-16-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
As I prepare for what's next for me in the coming months I kept hearing the Holy Spirit tell me that soon you will receive a phone call, an email and a tweet from someone who will BLESS you in a mighty way! I had no idea when it will come and who it will come from. Later this afternoon I checked one of 5 email addresses I have...YES, I have over 5 email addresses I check daily or try my best to check twice a week. Any who! LOL! I checked my email and I received the most wonderfully awesome blessing and prayer that I've ever received from one of MANY Spiritual Mothers I have today.

What is a "Spiritual Mother?" Well, a "Spiritual Mother" is a mentor for "Believers" who helps and guides you along your journey in your spiritual growth towards maturity in becoming a teacher, preacher, prophet, minister and so on. God sends Spiritual Mothers and Fathers as well as Brothers and Sisters into your life to strengthen, encourage, inspire, empower and develop into what God predestined you to become in life. Amen!

Mama Doris is the one who sent me the email. I still have a phone call and a tweet to receive in divine timing. I wanted to share with you ALL today because I truly believe there are some of you who don't have "Spiritual Parents" and need to be encouraged about where you are in your journey of life and you know that the turnaround in your life is about to happen at any moment towards SUCCESS!

Here's the email Mama Doris wrote to me:

Wow!!! God is so good. All of the time. I am excited to hear how Our Father is moving in your life. Thanks for replying to me and sharing with me your good news. This is your season, God is blessing you to walk in your dreams and desires.

I pray His ever present blessings and anointing upon you, your voice and every where that you place your feet. I pray that God touch the eyes, ears, hearts and minds of all that will hear and see you and that come within your presence; that their hearts will be opened and receptive to you; that they will see your good works and Glorify God with you. Your opportunities and blessings are limitless and without boundaries. I know our God, our Heavenly Father, will continuously, richly bless you.

How To Receive by Queen Diva 4-2-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
How to Receive...Today I will discuss how do you receive from others? You may be thinking...Diva why are you explaining to me how to receive? I'm so glad you were thinking that very question. Many of us do not know how to RECEIVE. We can become so busy giving, giving and giving that we just don't know how to RECEIVE when someone is trying to GIVE to us. Let me share an example....Perhaps you are the type of person who has always giving a kind word every single day you go to work or  to school just complimenting people on their work performance, attire or personality, yet no one ever says anything to you. You don't mind because you are a GIVER. Then one day someone actually comes to you and tries to GIVE to you or pour LOVE upon you and you RUN or REJECT what is poured into you. That is what I want to discuss today because it's time that you learn How to RECEIVE!

Why am I say this? The reason why I'm saying this because YOU are missing out on LOVE. Yes, YOU the "GIVER" who never gets a genuine hug for no reason, YOU who never has anyone buy your lunch or dinner just because, YOU who never has anyone offer to buy you a cup of coffee in the morning when you really could use a cup, but you are so busy helping others that you neglect yourself. Or even YOU who has never known PURE LOVE before and when someone tries to give it to you begin blow up or get mad or even dismiss the LOVE as nothing or you may say that you are not worthy because you are a servant of God. Let me clarify that EVERYONE deserves LOVE for GOD is LOVE and everyone should have GOD poured into them. PERIOD.

We can be so "spiritual" that we are no EARTHLY good! AMEN, somebody! LOL! We have to learn to RECEIVE!!! So how do you receive...First you say two simple words....THANK YOU! Yes, LOL! It really does just start with saying, "Thank You" and then it follows with a smile. LOL! That's just way too simple to comprehend, right? When you are so used to always saying, "Here you go!" or "Do you want this?" or even "I wanted to GIVE you something." When all YOU have to do is just say, "THANK YOU" and smile. Another way to receive is to open your arms so that someone can give you a HUG! Can you just have a HUG? LOL! You carry so many CARES on your shoulders and you are always thinking of others, but can you just RECEIVE a hug so that someone can pour PURE LOVE into your spirit?  Hallelujah, LIGHTS! LOL!

Now you may be thinking how are those ways to RECEIVE? I'm so glad you were thinking that! LOL! (I read minds as a side hustle! LOL! Just kidding!) When you say thank you, smile and open your arms it a way of releasing your CONTROL. Yes, control is something givers really have a handle on. When you let go and release CONTROL of always being in control and allow others to SERVE you then you can be BLESSED. Whew! That was not what you were expecting to read, right? LOL! Well, it's true. When you GIVE the balance is to TAKE. There cannot be BALANCE in your life if you are always giving and never take what is shared with YOU!

I challenge you to make steps this week on making a CHOICE to RECEIVE all week LONG!!! I mean that. YES, I'm talking to you reading this post! YOU are reading this because you GIVE more than you RECEIVE and it's now time for you to release your CONTROL on always giving and allow God to give you LOVE in many forms that LIFE can bring to YOU! I know I'm still learning how to RECEIVE but I'm much better now than I was some years ago.

Are You a BLESSING or CURSE? by Queen Diva 3-29-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Are you a BLESSING or CURSE? I was just having a "tweetsation" with a follower on Twitter the importance of being a blessing or curse to others. I remember saying that once on Facebook a few months ago because so many people do not realize the importance of their words or how powerful their words are when they speak with negative vocabulary or conversation about other people in their lives or read about online. I remember about 10 years ago I used to "CUSS" like a SAILOR! LOL! YES, Queen Diva used to have a "FOUL" mouth!!! I was back and forth living in New York City and I was living in the "world" heavily in trying to get into the music industry working around "Hip Hop & Urban Artists" where the vocabulary is very negative and hurtful. It didn't seem that way when you are in it and always using that vocabulary but one day I said something to a young rapper and he looked at me and said, "Da*n Diva, Why you gotta be so hard on a N***a?" I was like but that guy just said the very same thing! The young rapper said, "Yeah but he's a DUDE!" I was like....WOW, I really need to bridle my tongue! After that I prayed about it and just asked God to help me with my TONGUE. I had to ask God to forgive me and to clean my mind, heart and soul. I just totally surrendered to God and asked God to make me a vessel. It took about 7 years for me to completely change my conversation and my vocabulary.

How did I do it? I prayed, fasted and truly just made a CHOICE to stop using negative words, language and vocabulary. It was hard at first because I was so used to saying "CUSS WORDS" all of the time. I was led to the scripture....Matt 6:21 "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." I had to look at myself and where I stood in my life. I TREASURED cursing and cussing with the men because the Hip Hop industry is a MALE Dominated industry and I wanted to be able to keep up and hang with them as well as be respected in that industry. Did I really want to be known as a woman with a "foul mouth" or "negative conversation?" I was like....NO, I'm not like that! I'm a loving and giving person and I love to help people reach their fullest potential! The more I read the Holy Bible the more I wanted to be like Christ. I truly didn't want to be a child of the devil and I wanted to be a Child of God. As plain and harsh as that sounds it was so true! If we are not of the LIGHT then we are of DARKNESS.

CHOOSE today to walk in the LIGHT! CHOOSE to change your thinking and vocabulary to BLESS others and not CURSE them. When you "CUSS" you are cursing people the names and words you are speaking. You didn't know that did you? Well in the words of the late NOTORIOUS B.I.G., "If you don't know, now you know!"

It's not going to be easy to change your words or thinking it ALL starts with you making a choice every single day, "Am I going to be a BLESSING or a CURSE?" Once you have made that decision then it's up to you to walk in that decision PURPOSELY in a POSITIVE walk and change your thoughts!

CHOOSE today.....Are you a BLESSING or CURSE? Whatever you choose it will not only effect you but the people around YOU! How many times have you gone to work and there was that one person in the office who always had something NEGATIVE to say to everyone about everything ALL day long? How did that make you feel being around that person? Now just think when you are that PERSON? How do you think YOU make others feel? Hmmmm?

I challange you ALL to be mindful of the WORDS you speak and the conversation you entertain. God is always watching and listening to ALL that we say and do! Start today and purposely choose to say something positive to someone you would normally never say a word to on any given day. Compliment their job performance at work or how neat and orderly their desk is arranged. Before you know it you will be speaking LIFE and not DEATH to the people in your life.

Everything is Purposeful by Queen Diva 3-24-12

Today's Diva's Diamonds:
Everything is Purposeful....I will say it again....Everything is Purposeful....maybe I need to shout out...EVERYTHING IS PURPOSEFUL!!! Okay...that was for me not so much for you reading this right now! LOL! Let me explain why I had to write this today...I've had my HP laptop for about two years and the "Backspace" button first came off and then the small button just above that adjacent to the left came off. I've dropped it several times and there's a small scratch on the front toward the tip of the computer where it opens. But that's not why I'm writing this post. Just the other day I finally decided to download a 60 Trial Office 2010 program just until I decided when I would get me a new laptop and prepare for many things God has in store for me to do in 2012 and beyond. I was so tired and I waited to the last minute to download the program while I was listen to "Fly Together" with Ryan Leslie & Red Cafe Instrumental over and over! LOL! I was just waiting for the download to happen then I was going to go to sleep. I remember turning off the computer and closing the laptop but I don't remember taking off my headphones. I wake up the next morning thinking I will be able to check my email and check out the new program I downloaded...

NOT! I took the headphones off but they were in between the keyboard and the computer screen all night and I must have pressed hard against it and when I turned the computer screen on it looked liked a cracked window and all of the pixels were going haywire!!!! I was such shock because I couldn't believe this was happening to me!!! I need to see the screen to do my work and all the things I need to prepare for as well as write my blogs and communicate with family and friends all around the world!!! How could this be happening to me???

I was about to just CRY!!! Then I just heard the LORD say in my spirit every peacefully and quietly..."Don't Worry..." It's going to be alright...just get ready for your day...That was two days ago. I called my brother who helped be before when I got a virus on this very same laptop in December 2011 and he said that maybe it will go back in place if you just leave the computer open and leave it alone. So for the last two days I've just been checking to see if the screen will get back into it's original state. It looks better than it did...it still has that cracked window look but the rest of the screen just looks like a plaid print in rainbow colors! LOL! Awwwwwwwwww!

I have to share this though...all this week since Wednesday I have been attending a Bible Conference in Elmendorf, TX. An amazing conference by the way! Today the second to last preacher spoke on "Anxiety" or as we all know it as "Worry!" As Christians we are not suppose to worry about ANYTHING!!! I mean "NOTHING" because we are to "Cast our cares unto the Lord!" I was worried about how was I going to communicate with others, how was I going to do my blog, how was I going to prepare proposals and make flyers for events that I'm planning without using my computer. The preacher said, "Seek ye the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you." The small still voice of God told me, "Don't worry...I got you...keep going." So I just went to the last day for the conference with the church family I attended the conference with and I was at complete peace.

My computer still isn't fixed but one of the sisters from the church is allowing me to use her computer when I need to go online. I realized I was spending far too much time online and anytime that happens God makes a way for me to be offline for a while or at least limits my time. So when I say...."EVERYTHING IS PURPOSEFUL" .... it's for a reason. The flyer can wait, the proposals can wait and everything else can truly wait. I have to make time for God....read the books HE told me to finish, fellowship with the people around me for I won't be around them for long and prepare for a new laptop which HE already promised me that I would receive very soon.

I shared this detailed testimony to say this....when you have a plan to do things and its exactly what God wants you to do....sometimes either the enemy will try to trip you up and get you off course or God will allow things to happen to see how you will handle it in hopes to redirect you back on HIS course and not your own. It wasn't that I was so off course but more my time management away from being online was getting in the way of other things that I needed to take care of in my everyday life. Yes, I'm doing "Kingdom Building Business" yet there is also a time when I need to just read the Holy Bible, fellowship with my church friends and family, take a nap, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and so on.

Thank you, Lord for this gentle reminder and I'm casting ALL of my cares on you! Lord you know what I need and what I need to get done both with and without my computer. As so many of you that read my blog and YOU in particular reading this blog right now! What are you doing right now that you should be doing to help build the "Kingdom of God on Earth?" What are you doing that God has placed in your heart to BLESS others and you haven't even gotten started because you get easily distracted? Everything that may be shutting down on you or cut off is happening because "EVERYTHING IS PURPOSEFUL!"

I challenge you to take some quiet time and prepare a petition to the Lord what should you be doing with your time? What is next on the list for your to accomplish? What is going on in your life that God is shutting down and placing road blocks or detours before you can get to your next destination? Once you've formulated your questions then take it to the LORD in prayer and be ready to do what GOD says to do! I encourage you to be OBEDIENT for if you are not you will be going in a circle for a long time until you pass the test or complete the task that God has for YOU! I needed to be still, enjoy my life right now where I am with the people I'm around and not be so consumed with being online. I know once I do that God will fix the computer for me and I will also get a new one very soon! I'm looking at the SONY Vaio 15 inch screen within the SONY Signature Collection! Ohhh la la! LOL!
